The Doozie Photo Sling looks like an everyday shoulder bag but is in fact a proper camera bag that is converted to an every day bag in a couple of seconds. How’s this done? simply lift out the padded internal camera gear pouch.
Imagine this, you have been shooting an event during the day and after a hard days shooting you are going out for a meal and a few drinks with friends and you don’t want to
- Take your expensive camera gear with you
- Move all your required items from your camera bag to your everyday bag
Lucky for you Crumpler have solved this age old problem. With the integrated and removable camera pouch (which is provided with the bag) your camera gear lives inside the pouch and when you want to use your Doozie Sling for everyday purposes simply lift the pouch out and leave it at home.
The bag itself looks like a standard ladies shoulder bag which is good because it doesn’t advertise the fact that you’re carrying around expensive camera gear. A zip runs along the top of the bag which accesses the main section, inside is the padded camera pouch.
The camera pouch has Velcro on the bottom which grips to the inside bottom of the bag this pouch has adjustable padded dividers to separate your gear and a padded top flap to close the pouch. When the pouch is inside the bag there is still some additional space left on top.

- Canon EOS 6D With 24-105mm f/4 IS USM attached (hood reversed)
- Canon 70-200mm f/ 2.8L USM Lens
- Canon 16-35 f/4 IS USM Lens
And maybe you could even squeeze in a flashgun
or alternatively you could fit
- Canon EOS 6D With 70-200mm f/ 2.8L USM Lens attached (hood reversed)
- Canon 24-105mm f/4 IS USM Lens
The bag has 3 additional pockets. Inside the main compartment is a flat slip pocket which will hold large tablets and maybe even small laptops this pocket has a Velcro tongue to keep your tablet in place. The back of the bag has an external open topped flat slip pocket, and the front of the bag has a zipped pocket with integrated memory card pouches. Lastly a small removable flat pouch is attached to the shoulder strap via a string which can be used for money, memory cards, or any other small items.
The shoulder strap is fixed but fully adjustable the Doozie Sling has been constructed from Chicken Tex Supreme and Ripstop Nylon
